Four high school friends face typical teenage problems and try to make it to prom night. Cloe (Olivia Hack), Yasmin (Dionne Quan), Sasha (Tia Mowry), and Jade (Soleil Moon Frye) want to spend all their time getting ready for the prom, but their art teacher assigns a project about self-expression that’s worth 25% of their entire grade. For their project, they decide to borrow a video camera and document their different talents and what kinds of art they enjoy. It seems they have everything figured out, but then Cloe crashes her car, and someone is publishing articles in the school newspaper spreading damaging gossip about the girls. The closer it gets to prom night, the more the girls worry about what else could go wrong. Will they make it to prom? Will they finish their project?
